Max is a great name for achieving things. Just think of Max Verstappen, the Dutch queen Maxima or Max, the university cat who, in the past year, got a doctorate in litter-ature from Vermont State University.
My Max prefers conifers, being a half Norwegian bush cat, but like Doctor Max, he does like people. He always greets visitors with a head bump.

Wilma preferred her own company, and if needs be, she enjoyed her humans’ company. But visitors seldom saw her. Dr Max, though, roams the university grounds at all hours. His human, who lives nearby Vermont State University, has to ask people attending the university to bring him home after dark as groups of feral cats started attacking poor Dr Max at night. Were they jealous of his achievements? You can read all about his fame in an article in The Guardian.
Dr Max is not the only working cat. I came across a cat who helps the police and another who guards train stations. Let me know if you have heard of any working cats out there, and I will blog about them.
Snuggle up with a book

You still have time to grab Wilma’s adventures for only $0.99. Read about how she was found as a kitten and, a year later, emigrated to New Zealand. Or find out about the other amazingly discounted books. With over 30 on offer, there’s bound to be one for you.
